Corporate Strategy

The Company’s major focus is being a technology developer leading to the manufacture, sales and maintenance of ocean wave power technology and equipment.

Sources of Revenue

The company will generate revenue from three sources:

1. Product Sales. We offer a turnkey solution to commercial wave energy systems.

2. Ocean Energy Services. We will support the commercial operation of our technology by providing a comprehensive operations and maintenance programme.

3. Wave Farm Revenue. While Wavebob intends to remain focussed on technology development, it nonetheless requires an understanding of the development and operation of commercial scale wave farms. To that end, Wavebob has entered into a Joint Venture with Vattenfall AB of Sweden and Bord Gais of Ireland to develop commercial wave farms off the west coast of Ireland. This partnership provides both experience and future revenue as the farm develops. Wavebob will seek to participate and retain a minority interest in a small number of early stage wave farms with utility customers in its chosen geographic markets.

Wavebob will focus on those markets with a suitable wave resource and appropriate support mechanisms for the deployment of wave energy converters. Our priority geographic markets are Ireland, U.K., Portugal and the U.S.

Wavebob has employed an “Open Innovation” model which strategically leverages internal and external research capabilities. To that end, Wavebob has assembled a consortium of world-class academic and corporate partners who continue to increase the pace of development.

Uniquely, Wavebob has secured significant third party endorsements from end-users, technology providers and governments for its technology and strategy.
